CHIME WHISTLE RINGTONE

Railway 200 is the nationwide celebration marking 200 years since the opening of the Stockton and Darlington Railway on 27th September 1825. To celebrate the start of the anniversary year the Trust invited its Volunteers and Members, and also members of the public, to send in video clips of it' locomotive sounding it's iconic chime whistle. A celebratory cacophony of train locomotive whistles and horns sounded at midday on 1st January 2025, including 60007's chime whistle.

We have extracted from our supporters' submissions a couple of ringtones that you might like to use on your mobile phone.

Because there are many different models of mobile phone we can't provide a tuition for adding these, please consult your phone's manual (or look up online if the manual isn't to hand). You need to download the file to the phone then to use it either in conjunction with your email client or as a ringtone for the phone.

Clip one, for an arriving email, four seconds long.

Clip two, for an incoming phone call, 35 seconds long, which your phone should be able to loop if you wish.

Clip three, for an incoming phone call, one minute long, which your phone should also be able to loop.
